Hello everyone!
This is Ms. Ko, your English–Chinese teacher! 🌈
最近のそら組の英語の授業では、「きがえ（Changing Clothes）」をテーマにした絵本を読みました。
まずは「パジャマからおようふくにきがえよう！」というお話を通して、朝のしたくを楽しく学びました。
In our recent English lesson with the Sora group, we read a picture book about changing clothes.
Through the story of “Let’s change from pajamas to clothes!”, the kids learned about getting ready in the morning in a fun and lively way.
絵本を読む前に、子どもたちは「これ、だれのふくかな？」「どこへいくのかな？」と想像をふくらませました。
ページをめくるたびに、「ぼうし！」「ズボン！」「くつ！」と英語で言いながら、絵を指さして大盛り上がりでした。
Before reading, the children imagined together: “Whose clothes are these?” “Where are they going?”
Each time we turned a page, they excitedly pointed and called out in English — “Hat!”, “Pants!”, “Shoes!” — full of energy and smiles.
そのあと、「Put on your shirt!」「Take off your hat!」などのフレーズを使って、まねっこ遊びをしました。
子どもたちは立ち上がって、「シャツをきる！」「ぼうしをぬぐ！」と体を動かしながら、英語の言葉と動作をつなげて覚えました。
After that, we played a “pretend and move” game using phrases like “Put on your shirt!” and “Take off your hat!”.
The children stood up, moving their bodies — pretending to dress and undress — while connecting the English words to real actions.
活動の最後には、「きがえるとどんなきもち？」と聞いてみました。
「かっこいい！」「おでかけしたい！」「あたたかい！」など、いろいろな答えが返ってきて、子どもたちの表現力の豊かさを感じました。
At the end, I asked, “How do you feel after changing clothes?”
Their answers were wonderful: “Cool!”, “I want to go out!”, “Warm!” — it was great to see how expressive they’ve become!
さて、次回の英語の授業テーマは「いろ（Colors）」です！🌈
子どもたちはすでに日常生活の中で「赤」「青」「黄色」などの色に親しんでいます。
授業では、絵本や歌、ゲームを通して、英語で色を楽しく覚えていきます。
Next time, our theme will be “Colors”! 🌈
The children are already familiar with colors like red, blue, and yellow in their daily lives.
Through picture books, songs, and games, we’ll joyfully learn how to say colors in English.
