にじ組ー英語レッスン(^^)
皆さんこんにちは！中国語と英語講師の易です。
暑い日が続いてますが、皆さんお元気ですか？
Hello, everyone! I’m Yi, the Chinese and English teacher!It’s been a string of hot days—how is everyone doing?
英語レッスンの始めのお歌は「Hello」と「Good Morning」です。先生のピアノに合わせてお歌を歌い始めると子どもたちはリズムに合わせてお手てを叩いたり、頭をゆらゆらさせたり、体を使って音楽を表現して楽しんでいました。
We started our English lesson with the songs “Hello” and “Good Morning.”As soon as we began singing along to the teacher’s piano accompaniment,the children clapped their hands to the rhythm, swayed their heads back and forth,and had a great time expressing the music with their bodies.
お歌のあとは絵本タイムです。
絵本は子どもたちが大好きな「Dear zoo」と「My Present 」でした。
After the songs, it was time for picture books.
We read “Dear Zoo” and “My Present,” two books the children absolutely love.
仕掛け絵本なので、次は何を出てくるのかなと興味津々です！ページをめくるたびに子どもたちはお目々をキラキラさせて待っていました。
Since they’re pop-up books, the kids were full of curiosity, wondering what would pop out next!
Every time we turned a page, the children waited with sparkling eyes.
特に「Dear zoo」では、ヘビさんが出てきた時に、子どもたちはキャーーといたずらっぽく怖がった顔で一斉に叫びます！どうやらこのページが子どもたちのお楽しみポイントのようです！
Especially in “Dear Zoo,” when the snake appeared,
the children all shouted “Eek!” in unison, playfully pretending to be scared!
It seems this page is a real highlight for them ^^;
また「What’s your name 」の次に英語を使った挨拶にも挑戦しました。「How are you ？」と問われると「I am good 」と元気な笑顔を見せてくれたり、「I’m hungry」
ではお腹を触ってお腹が空いたと表現してくれたり
「I’m tired 」のときでは元気がなさそうな表情して、まだ難しい単語を言えなくても体や表情で表して理解していました。
We also tried some English greetings right after “What’s Your Name?”When asked “How are you?”, they responded with “I’m good” and gave us bright, cheerful smiles;when we said “I’m hungry,” they touched their tummies to show they were hungry;and when we said “I’m tired,” they made tired-looking faces.
Even though they couldn’t say the words yet, they understood the meanings and expressed them through their bodies and facial expressions.

I hope the children will continue to discover the joy of English through songs and picture books.
